Hi everyone.

As many of you know, I have been involved with Golden Retrievers for over 30 years and the Lagotto Romagnolo breed for over 20 years . I have for the past number years not been in a position to breed or show due to work commitments.  I now have have Florence and Sky that I planned to show in 2020 but that was limited as you all know.  So we shall see what 2022-23 brings - although I don't find it easy to get to shows these days!

We have had the final litter from Izzy, my lagotto romagnolo in May 2021 but that was her last litter and she is desexed.  So whilst this is sad in some ways, given my love of this breed and that as a breeder I was helped by breeders in Italy, I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to be a part of this in Western Australia.

I have also been so blessed to now have Golden Retrievers back into my life..... I struggled for a lot of years over the loss of my last beautiful boy, Brady..... but those who have had a goldie also know it is hard to live without one!!!  So I was blessed with the beautiful girl, Emma, (Piarki Perfect Emma) who was shown once at 5 months and won Baby Puppy in Group and after an 18 month break, her first adult show she took BOB and Intermediate in Group.  I will set up a page for Emma.  I have held onto a daughter from Em's first litter, her name is Charli - and she has had a litter from J.J with the result being our new girl Florence.

I was then blessed to have Kracka - Ch Zenevieva Ice Kracker for Nugold (Irl) thanks to Kerrie and he is an absolute sweetheart!  The most stunning temperament, gentle, balanced nature that he is passing onto his progeny.  After he has now sired a few litters, we have kept a daughter, Elli who has only been very lighty shown to date (hmm, due to my busy work life and lack of training on my part), but 2023 will see her shine, I am sure.

My main concern is always for the purity of the breed.  We are determined that "as best as we can" the breed will remain true to the standard and that applies to my Goldies and the Lagotto -  the way the Italian Breeders of Lagotto intended.  To do anything less would be disrespectful and would not have the breed at their heart!

We are small family breeders, whose dogs are part of the family.  Our emphasis is on breeding to the highest standard we possibly can achieve. This have involved many years of research, before importing new bloodlines to Australia. This is to ensure that the animals we have are from excellent bloodlines, are healthy.  We believe we need to import for the future good of this breed in Australia. We are also blessed that we can be entrusted with such precious animals by those breeders who will allow us to import to Australia. This has not been an easy task, and I can see it will be an on going commitment to ensure the breed is selectively bred and additional lines are incorporated into my breeding program.   I am still working on that!

We pride ourselves on being FAMILY ORIENTATED, always being available to have a chat or lend support no matter what the issue - not only with our own puppies - but with any advice or assistance we are able to offer.
